Cooking fish in foil is one of the easiest ways to cook fish. And it makes clean up super quick! Here's how we cook sea bass in foil in the oven.
Fish in Foil (Sea bass al Cartoccio)
For this recipe all you'll need is sea bass, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, lemon, and lots of freshly cracked black pepper. And all you need to do is add everything to the tin foil, seal it up, and place it in the oven.
The foil will trap all of the steam of the fish and help to keep it nice and moist.

Seabass in Foil (Sea bass al Cartoccio)
Ingredients
- 1 sea bass

Extra virgin olive oil
-
2 slices of lemon
-
1 sprig of parsley
-
1 clove of garlic, smashed
- Black pepper
- Salt
Directions
- Clean the fish removing from interior and scales
- Cut a big piece of aluminum foil in a size able to wrap the fish
- Pre heat the oven at 350
- Place the fish in the aluminum, and in the womb add the garlic cut in two parts, 2 slices of lemon, the parsley, two round of black pepper, and salt. On top of the fish drizzle some EVOO. Wrap the fish in the aluminum. Place in a tray and put in the oven
- It need to cook at least 30 minutes, when you scent the fish means it’s cooked.
- Remove from the oven and serve it closed
- Once served pay attention to the steam.
