1927 - 1980, nonno francesco
Along the Ionian coast of Calabria, Italy Giuseppe's grandfather plants olive trees, vineyards, and more. He produces premium Italian EVOO for his family's personal use.
1992 - 2017, salvatore & lina
Giuseppe's father, Salvatore, retires early and dedicates his free time to the groves. He plants more trees. Salvatore and Lina (Giuseppe's mother), harvest the fruit regularly.
2017 - present, giuseppe & skyler
We take over management of the estate and work with an agronomist to establish regenerative farming. EXAU launches in the US in 2018, and production quickly expands to 2 new properties. We start the olive oil club in 2019 and begin shipping to new countries! Read more here.
